Tour Overview
An eight-day loop from Ouarzazate through the full range of Moroccan landscape. Beyond Ait Benhaddou, the Dades and Todra Gorges, and two nights in the Merzouga dunes, the route heads north to Fes and the blue city of Chefchaouen, then south again via Rabat and Casablanca to Marrakech for a full medina tour. A final detour to the Atlantic port of Essaouira precedes the return crossing of the High Atlas back to Ouarzazate.Tour Highlights

Day by Day Itinerary
Visit UNESCO Ait Benhaddou. Drive through the Skoura palm grove and Valley of Roses. Explore Dades gorges and Tinghir oasis. Walk through the spectacular Todra Gorges (300m high walls). Continue to Merzouga for sunset camel trek. Traditional dinner, Gnawa music, overnight in luxury desert camp.
Dawn Sahara sunrise. Full day in Erg Chebbi: 4×4 to flamingo lake and nomadic families, sandboarding, Khamlia Gnawa music village, optional quad biking. Second magnificent night in the desert camp under the stars.
Second Sahara sunrise. Visit Rissani souk. Drive north through the Ziz Valley, Midelt, and the Middle Atlas mountains. Pass through Ifrane ("Switzerland of Morocco") and the Azrou cedar forest with Barbary macaques. Arrive in Fes by evening. Overnight in Fes.
Full guided tour of Fes el-Bali medina — UNESCO World Heritage Site. Chouara tanneries, Al-Attarine madrasa, Kairaouine mosque. Visit Roman ruins of Volubilis and imperial Meknes. Drive north to the magical Blue City of Chefchaouen. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Morning in Chefchaouen's blue medina. Drive south through Rabat (Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V) and Casablanca (Hassan II Mosque). Continue to Marrakech. Evening at Jemaa el-Fna. Overnight in Marrakech.
Full guided tour of Marrakech: Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Jardin Majorelle, and the vibrant medina souks. Evening at the legendary Jemaa el-Fna square. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day trip to Essaouira — UNESCO World Heritage Site on the Atlantic. Explore the dramatic sea ramparts, blue fishing port, art galleries, and medina souks. Seafood lunch. Return to Marrakech for overnight.
Final day crossing the High Atlas mountains back over the spectacular Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260m) to Ouarzazate. Arrive by afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or Ouarzazate airport. Tour ends.
