An eight-day loop from Tanger through Morocco's full range of landscapes. Chefchaouen and the Roman ruins of Volubilis lead to Fes, then two nights in the Merzouga dunes with 4×4 excursions and sandboarding. Day by Day Itinerary
Pick-up from Tanger (8:00 AM). Drive along the Atlantic coast to the beautiful rampart town of Asilah. Continue to the magical Blue City of Chefchaouen in the Rif Mountains. Afternoon exploring the iconic blue-painted medina alleys, central plaza, and Spanish mosque viewpoint. Overnight in Chefchaouen.
Morning in Chefchaouen. Drive east to the UNESCO Roman ruins of Volubilis (2nd-century mosaics). Visit imperial Meknes (Bab Mansour gate, Moulay Ismail mausoleum). Arrive in Fes by evening. Overnight in Fes.
Morning guided tour of Fes el-Bali medina (tanneries, madrasas, souks). Drive south through Ifrane and Azrou cedar forest (Barbary macaques). Continue to Merzouga for sunset camel trek. Berber dinner and overnight in luxury desert camp.
Dawn Sahara sunrise. Full day exploring Erg Chebbi: 4×4 to flamingo lake and nomadic families, sandboarding, Khamlia Gnawa village, optional quad. Second magical night in the desert camp.
Second Sahara sunrise. Rissani souk. Tinghir oasis. Todra Gorges walk. Dades Valley. Visit UNESCO Ait Benhaddou. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Cross the High Atlas via Tizi-n-Tichka (2260m). Arrive in Marrakech. Guided afternoon tour: Koutoubia, Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Majorelle Garden, medina souks. Evening at Jemaa el-Fna. Overnight in Marrakech.
Day trip to Essaouira — UNESCO Atlantic coast city, blue fishing port, sea ramparts, medina souks. Seafood lunch. Drive north to Casablanca. Overnight in Casablanca.
Morning visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca (world's 3rd largest). Drive north through Rabat (Hassan Tower, Mausoleum of Mohammed V). Continue to Tanger. Arrive by late afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel. Tour ends.
